THE ROSARY OF TIME from ECHO OF SILENCE BY MAXIMILLIEN DE LA CROIX DE LAFAYETTE’S BOOK PUBLISHED IN 1984

Dear Dr. Erica:

In 1984 I attended Mr. De La Croix musical play he wrote and produced at the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in Washington, DC, USA. I was deeply impressed by the beauty of his lyrics and music. It is amazing, this man wrote a score of 42 songs of an angelic beauty. In the Stage Bill of the Kennedy Center in the listing of the performer, a bio on Mr. De La Croix was published and included a reference to his book “Echo of Silence” where  a large part of his thoughts and philosophy of life was referred to. I could not get a copy of the book. I wrote to the publishers but they informed me that the book was out of print. I am particularly interested in the chapter “The Rosary of Time”. Is it possible to print an excerpt of those proverbs and sayings by Mr. De La Croix? Thank you.

Estephan Zimbalist, Budapest, Hungary.

I found one single copy at the National Archives. I copied that excerpt. Here it is.
